- HS-20122 has shown encouraging anti-tumor activities and favorable safety profiles across various types of advanced tumors.
- Promising efficacy was shown in EGFR mutant NSCLC post-EGFR TKI failure, the ORR was 61.3% and 6-month PFS rate was 75.3%, potentially making HS-20122 a novel option for this population.
SHANGHAI, October 25, 2026— Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (“Hansoh Pharma,” 03692.HK) today announced that the encouraging results from the Phase 1 study of HS-20122 (a novel EGFR/c-Met bispecific ADC), in patients with advanced solid tumors, were presented in the Proffered Paper Presentation session at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO 2026) Congress, held in Madrid, Spain.
HS-20122 is an EGFR/c-Met bispecific targeted antibody–drug conjugate (ADC)”] under clinical development for oncology. At ESMO 2026, the data were generated from an ongoing First-in-human Phase 1 study HS-20122-101(NCT06927570) evaluating the safety, efficacy, pharmacokinetics and immunogenicity profile of HS-20122 treatment. Leading Principle Investigator of this trial is Professor Zhang Li from Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center.
Details of the Proffered Oral presentation are as follows:
● Oral Title: HS-20122, a Novel EGFR/c-Met Bispecific Antibody Drug Conjugate, in Patients with Advanced Solid Tumors
● Session: Developmental Therapies
● Abstract No.: 1000O
● Date/Time: October 24, 2026 [CEST, UTC+2]
● Presenter: Prof. Zhao Hongyun, Department of Clinical Research, Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center
As of data cut-off July 6, 2026, a total of 215 participants with various types of advanced solid tumors were enrolled, and the study results showed:
◆ Promising Efficacy: Overall Objective Response Rate among all tumor types was 44.1% and Disease Control Rate was 91.0%. Efficacy was particularly encouraging in EGFRm NSCLC post-EGFR TKI failure, with ORR 61.3% and 6-month PFS rate 75.3%, and clinical benefits were comparable in both EGFR Del19 and L858R mutation. In immuno-chemotherapy pretreated squamous NSCLC and Head and Neck Cancer, the ORR was 32.1% and 50.0%, respectively.
◆ Favorable Safety Profile: Overall, HS-20122 demonstrated a favorable and manageable safety profile, no DLT occurred, with most Treatment-Related Adverse Events (TRAEs) being Grade 1-2. The most common Grade ≥3 TRAEs were primarily hematological abnormalities, including neutropenia (25.6%) and decreased white blood cell count (15.8%), which were clinically manageable. EGFR/c-Met-targeted toxicities were low, with no Grade ≥3 rash and only 2 (0.9%) participants developed Grade ≥3 stomatitis.
These positive clinical findings support further development of HS-20122 in multiple solid tumors, including EGFRm NSCLC.
About HS-20122
HS-20122 is an innovative EGFR/c-Met ADC developed by Hansoh, and by combining EGFR/c-Met dual-targeting with targeted delivery of a cytotoxic payload, it is designed to provide antitumor activity in various types of solid tumors, where EGFR and c-Met signaling may contribute to disease progression or treatment resistance.
HS-20122 is developed based on HS-20117 In March 2024, the Group entered into a license agreement with Biotheus and obtained an exclusive license from Biotheus Biotechnology (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. (“Biotheus”, acquired by BioNTech in 2025) to use bispecific antibody targeting EGFR/c-MET, including HS-20117, globally for the development, production and commercialization of ADC products, with the right of sublicense.
About Advanced Solid Tumor and NSCLC
In 2022, there were nearly 20 million new cancer cases and about 9.7 million deaths worldwide.[1] China recorded 4.82 million new cases and 2.57 million deaths, representing roughly 24% of global cases and 26% of deaths.[2]
Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) comprises around 85% of lung cancers, is the leading cause of cancer incidence and death globally. [1]Worldwide, lung cancer accounted for 2.48 million new cases and 1.82 million deaths.[3] In China, figures were 1.06 million cases and 0.73 million deaths (over 40% of the global lung cancer burden) and the majority of NSCLC cases were diagnosed at advanced stages.[3]
