ESMO TAT ASIA 2026 | HANSOH PHARMA PRESENTED PHASE I DATA OF HS-20117, AN EGFR/C-MET BISPECIFIC ANTIBODY, IN PATIENTS WITH EGFR EXON 20 INSERTION-MUTATED ADVANCED NSCLC
- HS-20117 has demonstrated a promising anti-tumor activity in advanced NSCLC harboring EGFR ex20ins mutation with the mPFS 9.6 months and mDoR 16.6 months.
SHANGHAI, June 17, 2026— Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (“Hansoh Pharma,” 03692.HK) today announced that the encouraging results from the HS-20117 (EGFR/c-MET bispecific) for the treatment of platinum-pretreated EGFR Exon20ins-mutated advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) were orally presented in the Proffered Paper session at ESMO TAT ASIA 2026 (June 12-14, Hong Kong, China).
HS-20117 is a fully human immunoglobulin G1(IgG1)-like bispecific antibody targeting both EGFR and c-MET, which is under clinical development for patients with NSCLC, colorectal cancer and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, etc. At ESMO TAT ASIA 2026, the presented data were generated from HS-20117-101 (NCT05940116), which is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and preliminary efficacy of HS-20117 as a monotherapy for participants with advanced solid tumors. The leading principal investigator of this study is Professor Dingzhi Huang, (Vice President of Tianjin Cancer Hospital).
The study results showed:
● Promising Efficacy:Among 22 efficacy-evaluable patients with EGFR Exon20ins-mutated advanced NSCLC treated with HS-20117, the median duration of response was 16.6 months, the median progression-free survival was 9.3 months indicating encouraging and durable response, and the estimated 12-month overall survival rate was 84.9% showed promising survival benefit.
● Manageable Safety: Among 25 safety-evaluable patients, HS-20117 demonstrated a favorable and manageable safety profile, with most Treatment-Related Adverse Events (TRAEs) being Grade 1-2. Only 6 patients experienced Grade 3 TRAEs. No grade 4 or 5 TRAEs were reported. No TRAE led to dose discontinuation or death.
These findings contribute to the broader understanding and potential value of HS-10382 in patients with newly diagnosed Ph+ CML-CP.
Details of the oral presentation are as follows:
◆ Poster Title: HS-20117 (EGFR/c-MET Bispecific Antibody) in EGFR Exon 20 Insertion–Mutated Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer After Platinum Based Chemotherapy: Results from a Phase I Study
◆ Session: Proffered Paper session
◆ Abstract No.: 1O
◆ Date/Time: 11:45-13:00, Sat, June 13, 2026
◆ Presenter: Dr. Sizhe Yu, Zhejiang cancer hospital, Hangzhou, China
About HS-20117
HS-20117 is a fully human immunoglobulin IgG1-like bispecific antibody targeting EGFR and c-MET.
HS-20117 binds both targets concurrently and produces anti-tumor effects by blocking EGFR/c-MET signaling and inducing antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
In November 2022, Hansoh Pharma entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Biotheus Biotechnology (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. (“Biotheus”, acquired by BioNTech in 2025) for the development and commercialization of HS-20117 in Greater China, including the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
About NSCLC
EGFR exon 20 insertion is the third most common EGFR mutation in NSCLC [1,2]. Unlike classic sensitizing mutations, exon 20 insertions are intrinsically resistant to conventional EGFR TKIs, because it is defined by an altered active site that sterically hinders TKI binding. After platinum-based chemotherapy failure, these patients have very limited treatment options and poor clinical outcomes, representing a major unmet medical need in thoracic oncology.
